Digital Learning Plans
Welcome to Antelope Elementary's Digital Learning Page! An overview of all learning plans for the week are now accessible in one easy-to-find location. Your student's teacher will likely continue to email, Zoom, Teams chat, or communicate with your child through other means throughout the week as part of the scheduled learning activities, but we hope this page makes it easier for you to keep track of each class and access the resources.
Teachers have been asked to prepare up to 40 minutes per day of instruction and practice for the following subjects: English Language Arts (ELA), math, and science. Having said that, we know that each family's circumstances and ability to fully engage are different. Your child's teacher will work with you to help you find the balance you and your student need.
For students with IEPs, our SPED teachers are providing personalized instruction tailored to students' individual goals. Our SPED teachers will email you information for each week. That instruction should be your child's first priority, and then your child can engage in the other learning activities as they are able. They do not need to go beyond the overall time limits unless they choose to do so. We do not want any of our students (or parents!) to be frustrated and overwhelmed during this time.
For students who are looking for additional opportunities, we are also providing a way for students to personalize and enrich their learning. Our STEM, PE, Library, and Computer Science teachers are including activities each week that students can do if they choose to do so. In addition, our SEM/Enrichment teacher is providing optional enrichment activities for all children who would like to extend and challenge their learning.
We recognize that parents are our students' first teachers! We are keenly aware of the love, sweat, and tears that you put into providing for and teaching your children. We also know that there are lessons they learn from you that cannot be taught in the school setting. We are here to support you in any way we can! We also want to thank you for the trust you have placed in us by partnering with us to meet the needs of each of your beautiful children. Thank you for allowing us to Be the One to Inspire Our Students to Imagine*Believe*Achieve!
