Hello Parents and Students,
I would like to introduce myself to you and start by letting you know how thrilled I am to join your school community! I have heard such amazing things about the students, staff, and community, and I count myself lucky to be able to call Antelope Elementary my new home.
I would like to take this opportunity to share a little bit about myself. I am coming from South Weber Elementary where I have been the principal for the past four years. Before moving into administration, I spent many years working as a literacy coach in various schools throughout the district. The last few years of that time I worked as a district literacy leader. Literacy, effective instruction, and the importance of social emotional learning are my professional passions, which I hope you will soon come to know!
On a more personal note, I have been married for 32 years and have three daughters and one son. I also have two pretty awesome grandsons! They inspire me every day to do and be better because they represent my “why I do what I do.” My goals and dreams for them are my goals and dreams for each of your children, too.
Now that you know about me, I look forward to getting to know you! Parents play a vital role in a student’s success at school, and I look forward to building a partnership where we can work together to ensure Learning First for our students. I have been told that the students at Antelope Elementary are happy, hard working, and eager to learn. Even more importantly, I have been told they have huge hearts. I also know that the staff and parents work together and go above and beyond to provide the best possible education for their students. I am excited to join your Allstar team!
Please feel free to stop by and introduce yourself or contact me if you have any questions.
