Principal Message
Dear Antelope Elementary Families,
My name is Tiffany Tuck and I am the principal of Antelope Elementary. This is my fifth year as a principal, my first year at Antelope, and I am honored and privileged to be at the helm of such an amazing school! I am returning to Antelope, where many of you may remember me as being the assistant from 2015-2019. My goal is to ensure that every student and staff member feel safe, healthy, happy and continue to thrive personally.
I graduated from Weber State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and from Utah State University with a master’s degree in Psychology as well as School Counseling. I then went on to further my education and received my degree in Administration K-12 from Southern Utah University. I am in the second year of the Doctorate of Education program at University of Utah. This is my 16th year with Davis School District. I've had the privilege of being an elementary school counselor for many years, as well as an assistant principal for several years.
I am thrilled to announce the theme for the 2023-2024 school year. Our theme this year is "Light the Night!" We will focus on lighting the way for others to be successful! We will work on facilitating and enriching personalized learning as well as maintaining the safety, good health, and well-being for all students.
We will continue to focus on character traits such as self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision-making, relationship skills and social awareness. Our school counselor will help to focus on our district’s continued goal of recognizing and incorporating social and emotional learning as well as academic learning, into the curriculum. Blended with these new monthly themes, we can advocate for these essential components within our teaching. It is crucial we meet all students’ needs that extend beyond standards, content, and academia.
We are grateful for the opportunity to provide educational, lifelong experiences for all students. We recognize the long-standing traditions that have come to define Antelope Elementary. Our community is rich with support and love. Without these components, we wouldn't have been, and wouldn't continue to be, as successful as we have been. We thank you for all your support.
Again, I look forward to this school year. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with amazing parents, our incredible school staff and last, but certainly not least, our amazing students. Please do not hesitate to contact me. We will make this year a memorable one!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Tuck
